Federal Switchgear is an ISO 9001:2008 company established in 2005 to cater the increasing demand for Switchgear products by utilizing the potential of the Middle East as manufacturing base. The Company is a part of Zubair Corporation, one of the largest and diversified groups based in Oman. The Company has set-up its busway manufacturing facilities in collaboration with Wilmar International Inc of USA.

Federal Switchgear has the manufacturing capability to make feeder pillars up to 3000 A, main distribution boards, control cabinets, different ratings of busways with steel or aluminum enclosures. With its continued investment in advanced technology, Innovative product development and a state of the art manufacturing and testing facilities, Federal Switchgear is able to make high quality, safe and reliable products.

The products are designed, manufactured and tested to comply with national and international standards including IEC – 61439-1 / IEC 61439-5. The product designs are developed using fully computerized techniques and drawing are prepared on computer using CAD software. Extensive analysis by interactive computer program is used to obtain optimum designs which meet the requirements of the customer specifications and relevant standards.

Federal Switchgear has carried out TYPE Test on more than twenty different type of switchgear products at independent laboratories in Europe
